Husqvarna ST224 Review Feb 2025
If you are looking for a blower to help clear snow from paths and driveways around your home, you should look at the ST224. It offers optimal performance and can work in all snow conditions. I recommend this blower to anybody who does not want to spend a couple of thousand dollars and is looking for a decent product.
Why do I like it?
I found the design of the ST224 blower to be exceptionally ergonomic. It has a few features that will ensure you derive optimal results from using it:
- Its skid shoes are adjustable, which allows it to work on any surface condition
- It features a two-stage blower system that delivers adequate throwing capacity
- It ensures smooth operation through its friction-disc transmission
- The handle height can be adjusted, allowing for greater convenience
- It comes with LED headlights for easy maneuverability in low light

The ST224 comes packed with a powerful and robust 208 cc Husqvarna engine. I did not face any problems clearing moderate amounts of snow using this machine. It has a width of 24 inches which is sufficient for most of the snow removal work you may undertake around your house.
I especially liked the operational efficiency of this blower which gets more evident with every use. The large 16-inch tires come with X-Trac tread which allows this machine to move smoothly on uneven terrain. The handle grips are heated, enabling more comfortable operation in extremely cold conditions.
You will appreciate the remote chute rotator on the panel which allows you to quickly and easily change the chute direction.

Husqvarna ST224P Review Feb 2025
The next product in my list of recommendations is slightly bigger and better than the blower at the numero uno spot. The Husqvarna ST224P offers nearly the same features as its predecessor, the ST224. The only difference is the additional power steering feature in ST224P.
Why do I like it?
The ST224P Blower has an equally ergonomic design as the ST224 Blower. The following points sum up its design highlights:
- It offers versatility in terms of various surface conditions it can work on, owing to adjustable skid shoes
- Its handle is flexible – you can change the height as per your needs
- It features top-notch snow throwing capacity through its two-stage blower system
- The LED headlights make it possible for you to use it even when it’s dark
- Its friction-disc transmission allows for smooth and quick operation

The additional power steering function in ST224P along with the loop handle enables you to have better control of the machine while using it. You may be wondering if this added feature is worth the extra hundred bucks that you have to pay – if you take my word for it, it surely is!
The ST224P has a powerful 208 cc Husqvarna engine. It has a width of 24 inches, which is enough to clear snow from driveways and sidewalks. The large X-Trac treaded tires are a specialty of all Husqvarna snow blowers.
I especially liked the upgrade from ST224 to ST224P because the power steering feature makes a substantial difference while removing snow.

Husqvarna ST227P Review Feb 2025

The large 16-inch tires come with X-Trac tread, which allows this machine to move smoothly on uneven terrain. I especially liked the remote chute rotator on the panel that changes the chute direction easily and quickly.
